Deepscan
Operation
Operation
Deepscan was the most important and largest attempt to find the Loch Ness
monster.
Project
Head: Mr. Adrian Shine and Mr. Laurence from Laurence Electronics.
Project
Cost: £ 1,000,000
Procedure:
sweeping the loch from top to bottom.
Start
Date: October 1986
Result: three contacts were
made which moved at different depths. The following day the ships went to
the same place and found nothing. The media took the “No Contact” as
bad news and despite the fact that 60% of the total surface of the loch
was covered, the press considered that the project failed
