where fans of the Scottish Culture gather
to enjoy traditional dances (Scottish
Country Dances and Highland Dance), bagpipe
music, songs, humour and much more in
an ideal atmosphere to meet new friends.
In this special occasion we will be celebrating
the 250 anniversary of
the birth of Scotland’s National
Bard, Robert

Kirking of the Tartans will
take place on Sunday October
19 at 10 a.m. at the Madre Admirable
Church, Arroyo 931, in the
neighbourhood of Retiro. The Buenos
Aires Scottish Guard will participate
in the ceremony with its pipers and
flag bearers. All the community is
invited to participate in the "Blessing
Ceremony" bringing something
with tartan. This is an annual ceremony
where people of Scottish descent dedicate
themselves to God and remember their
cultural heritage. . |

June 7th: SAPA Ceilidh (Scottish informal
party) in Temperley.South
American Piping Association (SAPA) after
his 40ths birthday will carry out a traditional
Scottish party at Belgrano School, situated
on 9 de Julio 250 Ave. at 9 PM. Show
with bagpipe music and Scottish dancing
(Highland & Country Dances). Celtic
crafts exhibition. For tickets

at 3 PM. Pipe Bands, Scottish Societies,
Descendants of Scots and Friends of Scotland.

Aires Scottish Guards, Highland Thistle
Pipe Band, Scotland in Argentina. The general
public will enjoy the music of the bagpipes
and the display of Scottish Traditional
